Wow, and we don’t mean it lightly! Sri Lanka was a long time coming, taken 5 years to finally make it back. The good news, Mike’s new set up is still as amazing, from room to lawn, from lawn to water. The wind is very much still there and so is Foxy:) What a week, it just blew and blew. You couldn’t ask for more. And, what beats a video debrief around the pool and under the palms?? Unsurprisingly but exceedingly excitingly, it absolutely went off all week with so many firsts. From air gybes and grabs, back rolls, front rolls, doubles, toeside take offs, an abundance of dark slides, downloops, big airs, nose grabs, boners, kiteloops (and even higher kiteloops) to board offs and varials, carves, sprays, look backs, smiles and grimaces. Not to mention some hefty wipe outs and bell ringers! Nothing that a cold one couldn’t sort out.
