Our regular Sri Lankan adventure lived up to the hype for the third year running. Lots and lots of wind, delicious beautifully spiced food, perfect flat water, tea of course, plenty of nature, some fun in the sea, rather unusual musical instruments, dinner parties – we even had ice cream you know, plenty of sand, as much kiting as humanly possible and heaps of progress from all with more front rolls than Greggs. Not to forget the penalty kite off….
The good times kept rolling for 3 clinics with an abundance of enthusiasm, hard work, beach dogs and cracking moves. A few two weekers with some serious progress and eyes on the prize, blinds to surface passes! Also had Elvis in the house as this was the fortnight of the dark slide – uhhuh… The ladies were well represented too, and didn’t shy from impressing the boys with some fine aerial and freestyle moves. All in all great fun, awesome kiting and a fun filled medley of folk. Thanks to all the team at KK for such a truly wonderful time:)
