There is always something magical about a good trip to Dakhla, and our first kite clinic there for 2024 certainly lived up to expectations. The dramatic change from departure point to destination, the first glimpse of star coverage as you climb the stairs, and the striking view of your playground for the week as you rub your eyes and draw open the curtains. With a cracking group and a healthy forecast the magic was only just beginning! On the water it was an absolute learning fest. From first jumps and air gybes, down loops, back rolls, front rolls, hand drags, the rebirth of the inimitable twin tip duck tack, mythical linking, surfboard tacks, monster airs, cheeky grabs, steezy hand drags, the full tweaked boners, dark slides, rotations with toe side landings, perfect foiling carves and toe side. The list is endless, but complete. Special note must also go to Rod and Al for their two man formation show, with quite some finale:) It also goes without saying that the après was enthusiastic and energy levels were well managed. Another banging week, so thanks to all of you:)
