A brand new CKPerformance clinic concept. We’ll be running a kite clinic and a wing foil clinic in tandem. There is no better location to kick this off than our Red Sea Boat Safari. If this isn’t enough of a pull, it’ll will also be the first year on Philou’s new boat, doubling up on comfort, space and he reckons the food is even better!

Whether you only kite, only wing or enjoy the best of both worlds, this could be the ultimate trip…?

And it just get’s better. With the extra rooms available, it is possible to bring along your non kiting/winging partner should they wish to join you.

This clinic is a 7 night, 6 day clinic. Arrival will be on Friday the 15th and we’ll be returning to port on Friday the 22nd.

We say it every year, but nothing quite matches the heady mix of drifting through the most absurdly coloured waters, the conviviality of boat life, the peace and quiet, night skies lit up only by the stars and distant gas flares, freshly caught fish, snorkeling in one of the world’s finest aquariums, dolphins, phosphorescents, being rocked and hummed to sleep by the soporific sound of waves lapping against the hull, and waking to the sweet music of wind whistling and the halyards tapping out their upbeat rythm. And to top it all off there’ll be plenty of kiting, winging and oodles of coaching.

The plan is to fly out on the Friday to Hurghada, go straight to the boat for dinner and some sleep, before waking and setting sail on Saturday morning. We’ll then be cruising around various beautiful flat water spots, that also offer themselves up as wonderful winging spots in the deeper section just off the sandbars or behind the boat. Once again we’ll have Philou as our guide. He knows these waters and winds better than anyone, being the original kitesurf adventurer around these parts. Where we go and when will depend on wind and conditions.

The newly built boat, has both double and twin cabins, air con and plenty of deck space. Depending on bookings there may be the possibility of single rooms.

Coaching will be 9 or 6 days of CK Performance, plenty of whipping, whooping and improving. We have a screen for video de-briefs and we’ll most likely squeeze in one kiting down-winder too.

We do require a minimum ability to kite upwind and happily relaunch your kite for this trip as we’ll be kiting in flat but offshore conditions, and for us to share our knowledge we’ll need to see plenty of you. However there is rescue so no need to hold back on the learning front.

On the winging front this will suit anyone who has their own equipment and can stay upwind off the foil. We’ll cover from getting up on the foil, riding on the foil, riding toe side, carving and gybing to tacking.

Cost

The Safari is full board, so all meals included along with water, tea and coffee. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are extra.

Cost for 7 nights all in and 6 days coaching, sharing a double cabin, or twin is £1650. Singles depending on availability.

Non kiting and non winging partners subject to availability.

Extras will be airport transfers, drinks and tip for the crew.

To book we’ll need a £600 deposit and you’ll need to book your flight. (Deposits are non refundable unless a replacement can be found).

This trip will only run with a minimum of 10 guests, due to cost of boat.
