Hope you've all been enjoying the festive season? If you've finally digested all the goodies and can move again we've got a little something for you. In fact, even if you're still suffering from the after effects of gluttony or are still enjoying a hefty dollop of brandy butter on another mince pie, we've got a little something for you:) Number two in our Wing Foil series, and this time round it's all about getting up on the foil. CK Wing Foiling💥 Video link above in Bio. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’re most likely aware that recently there have been a few well-off gents flying up to the edge of space, dressed as Thunderbirds, who have then returned to earth with big grins to pop corks and shower their teams in Champagne. Your Wing foiling journey will have many similarities. You aim to leave the usual confines of water-based sports and fly on the edge of your usual atmosphere. You’ll most definitely fist pump, high five, whoop and rather drink some bubbly or cold beverage of choice when you’ve returned successfully from your first flight. Even you bank balance will have taken a hit. However most importantly but so often overlooked and ignored is the preparation that went into making their and your mission a success. The pure joy and ecstasy are a direct result of the work that’s already been done.

Getting intentionally upside down adds a twofold goodness. To those looking on from the outside, the invert adds a point of difference. Whilst to you, the pilot, no matter how many times you’ve rotated before, your world will look and feel completely different. Gifting your senses a newfound treat. At first, it’ll feel more like driving at full speed in reverse. Unusual would be an understatement, confusing fairly apt, whilst undeniably exciting. @northkiteboarding @mysticboarding @iksurfmag @surfears #itcalls #wearenorth #northkitebording #northreach #mysticboarding #surfears #learnmorekitetricks #productivityandentertainment #kitecoaching #kiteclinics #kitesurfing #kiteboarding

The surfboard dismount is one of those moves that just works. As stylish and practical as a well-tailored, colourful hat. Fun and functional, nonchalantly plucking your board from the air obviously has its aesthetics, but it also trumps fumbling around in the shallows as the backwash bulldozes your board and fins against your shins or the shore break shipwrecks your prized blank against the solitary rock further up the beach:) @northkiteboarding @mysticboarding @iksurfmag @surfears #itcalls #wearenorth #northkitebording #northreach #mysticboarding #surfears #learnmorekitetricks #productivityandentertainment #kitecoaching #kiteclinics #kitesurfing #kiteboarding

If only we had a euro for every time we witnessed the sheer pleasure, excitement and downright chuffed-ness on a kiter’s face, when they’ve refurbed one of their stock moves with some form of kiting update! As enjoyable and frustrating as learning remains, seasoning something that you’re already capable of cooking up, does wonders for the soul and can be a quick fix to firing up the mojo. How about adding more than a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper, we’re going full caliente, chili seeds and all. Spice up your BLT with an Indy grab. @northkiteboarding @mysticboarding @iksurfmag @surfears #itcalls #wearenorth #northkitebording #northpulse #mysticboarding #surfears #learnmorekitetricks #productivityandentertainment #kitecoaching #kiteclinics #kitesurfing #kiteboarding
