Yew, the fun just didn’t stop as we careered into the final epic week. At the house they turned the spice up, which obviously wasn’t enough as Steve led the charge on raw snake bite chillis – when the locals say don’t do it, take heed! Ben and Foxy joined forces as the team’s mascots and the wind pumped up and through. On the water just to mention a slither of what was going down; Elvis would have been proud with the dark slide action, Jason, Juan Grande, Per and Steve nailed that one. Kat opened her box of tricks and consistently stuffed in the pop to blind with surface pass to name but one. Tom set the bar rather high with some epic altitude on his front loops, probably checking the weather up there. Hannah proved that all she needs is a camera and she will and can do anything, one foots, stiffys, all on demand. Daniel’s all round air game went through the roof, air gybes, back loops, front loops, homes, stiffys – lovely job. Ania perfected her stance and as a result took to the skies with reckless abandon and great success, a delight to watch. Always sad to leave Kitekuda-Kappaladi-Sri Lanka, feels like a second home – so can’t wait to be back again in 2016.
